    Crockpot: combine all ingredients except pecans. Cook 4 to 5 hours medium or 3 to 4 hours high. Mash with fork, garnish with pecans.

    Stovetop: combine all ingredients except pecans in a pot. Cook medium 30 minutes until soft. Mash and garnish.

    Instant Pot: all ingredients except pecans. High pressure 7 to 10 minutes. Quick release. Mash and garnish.
